Initial Admissions & Enrollment Criteria
Eldermont University welcomes applicants who are committed to personal growth, academic excellence, and Christ-centered leadership. To be considered for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Minimum Age Requirement
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.
Â
2. Educational Background
Applicants must have completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate program applicants must also possess a relevant undergraduate or graduate degree respectively.

3. Professional and Life Experience
In line with Eldermont’s Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) model, applicants must demonstrate:

• Bachelor’s Degree Programs: Minimum of 3 years of relevant work, ministry, or leadership experience.
• Master’s Degree Programs: Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional or ministry experience.
• Doctoral Degree Programs: Minimum of 7 years of advanced professional, academic, or ministry experience.

Application Process
To apply, prospective students must:

• Complete the online application, including:
â—‹ Submission of a comprehensive Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) portfolio outlining relevant education, training, certifications, professional achievements, and life experience.
â—‹ Upload a detailed resume or paste it into the application form.
â—‹ Provide supporting documentation such as transcripts, certificates, diplomas, licenses, awards, or written endorsements where available.
â—‹ Upload a valid government-issued photo ID.

• Affirm English language proficiency, as all programs are delivered in English and require strong reading, writing, and research capabilities.

• Acknowledge and electronically sign the Enrollment Agreement, confirming understanding of academic expectations, tuition structure, degree purpose, and Eldermont’s status as a faith-based religious institution.

Assessment and Enrollment
• There is no fee to apply or submit a PLA portfolio.
• Each application is carefully reviewed for eligibility, credibility, and alignment with program requirements.
• Upon acceptance, the student is invited to make their tuition payment, with installment options available.

Program Completion & Degree Conferment
• Students complete a thesis or dissertation as the capstone requirement for their degree program.
• Upon successful evaluation and approval of their final research project, and after all tuition has been paid in full, students are asked to make a final degree conferment payment to cover administrative processing, documentation, and issuance of the official diploma.

Rolling Enrollment & Self-Paced Progression
Eldermont University operates on a rolling admissions model. Students may begin their academic journey at any time and progress at their own pace, with support from faculty mentors and advisors.
