Eldermont University evaluates transfer credit and prior learning experiences in a manner that supports academic integrity, flexibility, and student achievement. However, it is important to understand the following:

 

Eldermont University is a faith-based institution that holds international and religious accreditations. While these accreditations are recognized by various global and faith-based organizations, they are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education or CHEA.

 

As such, acceptance of Eldermont University credits by other institutions is not guaranteed. It is the student’s responsibility to confirm whether credits, certificates, or degrees earned at Eldermont will be accepted by another institution, employer, or licensing body.

 

Eldermont University may accept transfer credit from a wide range of educational institutions and learning providers, including:

• Nationally or internationally accredited institutions

• Faith-based colleges and seminaries

• Professional training programs and credentialing bodies

• Military, vocational, or workplace-based learning experiences (via Prior Learning Assessment)

 

All credit transfer evaluations are conducted on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration:

• Relevance and academic equivalency to Eldermont’s degree requirements

• Credibility and accreditation of the originating institution

• Course content, learning outcomes, and student performance

 

Eldermont reserves the right to accept, deny, or limit the number of transfer credits awarded at its sole discretion.

 

Transfer credit and Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) documentation should be submitted during the application process. If additional materials need to be submitted or resubmitted:
