The Bachelor of Arts in Christian Early Childhood Education (B.A. CECE) equips students with the biblical, developmental, and instructional foundations necessary to nurture young children and support families during the most formative years of life. This faith-integrated program prepares learners to serve effectively in early learning environments—including childcare centers, preschools, church-based programs, and community initiatives—by combining developmentally appropriate practice with Christ-centered care, character formation, and ethical professionalism.

Students will study child growth and development (birth through age eight), early learning theory, curriculum design, classroom management, and family engagement through a distinctly Christian worldview. The curriculum emphasizes the development of nurturing learning environments, play-based and inquiry-rich instruction, and compassionate communication skills that support children’s social, emotional, and spiritual formation. Learners also explore child well-being, inclusive practice, and professional standards to ensure responsible, high-quality care and education.
