The Master of Arts in Christian Early Childhood Education (M.A. CECE) is a graduate program designed for early learning professionals, educators, and ministry leaders who seek to integrate biblical truth with advanced knowledge of child development, early learning practice, and family-centered education. This interdisciplinary program equips students with the theological, developmental, and practical competencies needed to nurture children’s growth, strengthen family partnerships, and lead with excellence in early childhood environments.

Rooted in Scripture and informed by research in child development and early education, this program prepares graduates to design effective early learning experiences, support social-emotional formation, and promote child well-being through Christ-centered care. Students explore curriculum design, assessment and documentation, inclusive practice, trauma-informed approaches, and early childhood leadership—developing both the compassion of a servant-leader and the analytical mind of a scholar.

Graduates will be well-prepared for roles as early childhood educators, program coordinators, curriculum specialists, trainers, and family engagement leaders in childcare centers, preschools, church-based programs, and community organizations. The program also provides a strong foundation for continued doctoral study in early childhood education, education leadership, or faith-based educational research.
