1. Institutional Structure & Delivery Model

2. Authorization & Regulatory Compliance
Eldermont University is authorized by the Florida Department of Education – Commission for Independent Education under Florida Statute 1005.06(1)(f) to operate as a religious institution granting degrees for religious and vocational purposes.

While Eldermont University does not participate in Title IV federal financial aid programs, we remain committed to compliance with applicable state laws and guidelines pertaining to distance education delivery. To the best of our knowledge and ongoing review, Eldermont meets the “no physical presence” criteria in most U.S. states and territories, and is therefore permitted to offer distance learning without additional state authorization in those jurisdictions.

Eldermont will continue to monitor state-specific requirements and update institutional policies accordingly.

3. Delivery of Online Programs
All programs at Eldermont are 100% online, accessible 24/7. Course content includes guided research development, written assignments, self-paced modules, and regular interaction with academic mentors. Each degree culminates in a thesis or dissertation project, evaluated through a rigorous academic review process.

Students are responsible for maintaining progress and are encouraged to communicate regularly with their mentors for guidance and accountability.

4. Professional Licensure Disclosure
Eldermont University’s degree programs are not designed to lead to state licensure or certification for secular professions (e.g., teaching licensure, counseling licensure, clinical practice). Students are responsible for verifying whether the degrees offered will meet specific professional or legal requirements in their jurisdiction.

Our degrees are intended for ministry, religious education, and leadership purposes and are not intended for professions that require government-regulated licensure.

5. International Students
Eldermont University does not admit students for in-person, campus-based study within the United States and is not certified under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) to issue I-20 forms for F or M visa categories.

However, international students may fully enroll in Eldermont’s online programs without residency restrictions, subject to the laws of their respective countries.

8. Adverse Actions Disclosure
As of the date of this disclosure, Eldermont University has not been subject to any adverse actions by state agencies or accrediting bodies related to its distance education operations.

9. State Authorization Disclaimer
Due to the evolving nature of state regulations concerning distance education, students are encouraged to confirm whether their state permits enrollment in online programs offered by out-of-state, faith-based institutions.
